Ayşe Gencer was born to a family of musicians and started her music career by receiving commendation during TRT’s light Western music vocal contest. Her first stage experience was with Erol Pekcan and then continued to share the stage with many famous jazz musicians. Gencer released her first album “But Beautiful” in 2011 and is currently working on her second album. The musician participated in many local and international jazz festivals as well as culture and arts activities.

Have you listened to Flapper Swing live? The band follows the footsteps of Django Reinhardt and Sydney Bechett, playing beloved Gypsy Swing songs while bringing the party spirit of the 1920s and 1930s to the stage since 2013. Flapper Swing consists of two manouche guitars, double bass, clarinet and vocals. The band invites the audiences to a lovely journey back in time through a visual and auditory spectacle.

Two jazz musicians with conservatory backgrounds, who solidified their place among the leaders of contemporary jazz in Turkey, will greet the audiences with their new Project and album Timeless. This concert experience will feature these two musicians interpreting their own compositions along with jazz standards in a unique way. This Project is also striking as a rare example of piano-double bass duo tradition in Turkey, and it will offer an unforgettable emotional and engaging experience to all audiences.
