The rules and conditions of the 17th Jazz Poster Competition have been announced by Izmir Foundation for Culture, Arts and Education (IKSEV) in order to choose the design for the 26th Izmir Europe Jazz Festival’s poster.
The deadline for entering the competition is announced as 21 December 2018, Friday, at 17:00. This competition aims to support the creativity of young people, students who take an interest in graphic design and graphic design artists by shedding a light to their perspective on Izmir Europe Jazz Festival, one of the few international festivals with a specific focus on “European Jazz”.
IKSEV has been choosing the poster design through this competition since the 10th Izmir Europe Jazz Festival and will be giving awards for those who place first, second and third. There can also be two honorable mentions issued if the selection committee sees fit. IKSEV will present the designers whose works will be displayed with certificates. The posters will be displayed at AASSM during the festival.
