Elif Sanchez’s album “ Así pues… ” , recorded with the O Kwarteto String Quartet, was released on all digital platforms on June 5th. Featuring guest appearances by Guinga, Antonio Serrano, Cenk Erdoğan, and Dimitris Bakoulis, the album takes you on a journey through Brazil, Spain, Greece, and Türkiye.
Coming from a family of musicians and receiving musical training from her family until the age of 10, Elif Sanchez graduated from Istanbul State Conservatory with a distinguished achievement award. In 2017, she graduated from Berklee College of Music, winning the Bill Pierce Award and the Mediterranean Music Institute Award.

Following the release of ‘Tres Palabras’ with Paul Sanchez and ‘A Donde Te Has Ido’ from Javier Limón’s “Viajeras” album, Elif Sanchez contributed her unique interpretation of ‘Benim İçin Öldün Artık’ to the “Selami Şahin Şarkıları 1” album, featuring many esteemed artists, celebrating the 57th anniversary of Selami Şahin’s artistic career. She also recorded two songs with world-renowned Alfredo Rodriguez, with whom she performed at the Madrid Jazz Festival, and the duo released ‘Besame Mucho’ as a single.
Elif Sanchez said about her album “ Así pues… ” , which consists of songs in Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish, and Greek : “While I was thrilled to work with such valuable names as Guinga, Antonio Serrano, Cenk Erdoğan, and Dimitris Bakoulis on the album; it was also a great pleasure for me to have Ismail Lumanovski, Panagiotis Andreou, and Engin Günaydın included as guest artists in the project. Sharing the same journey with musicians I have admired for years was very valuable. Working with the string quartet O Kwarteto, which gave soul to this whole journey and brought everything together, turned the album into an unforgettable experience.”
‘Así pues’… invites you on an emotional journey from Brazil to Spain, from Greece to Turkey. Just sit back and enjoy this journey.”
Elif Sanzhez recently released her third album, “Stages of Love,” a collection of self-written songs in Turkish, English, and Spanish that explore all the layers of love, along with the singles “Kırmızı Buğday,” “Ayrılıq,” and “Me Skotose Giati Tin Agapousa.”
