Kadıköy Municipality Culture and Arts Centre Yeldeğirmeni Sanat is getting ready to host new concerts.

Bora Çeliker received the first place award at Nardis Jazz Guitar competition in 2010. The trio is influenced by Modern Mainstream, Hard Bop and Free Jazz movements, while their varied performances range from dynamic and tense pieces to introverted and heavy ballads. The concert will feature Bora Çeliker’s ‘Borabook’ and ‘Tersyüz’ albums as well as jazz standards and bossa nova pieces written by Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Rodgers & Hart, Jimmie Van Heusen and Antonio Carlos Jobim.

A Lo Loco Latin Jazz Band

A Lo Loco Band is founded by Colombian percussion artist Joiner LP. The band will take the audience members to a journey from the Carribean to the islands of Argentina, visiting local tribes, and then moving on to the unique beaches of Colombia and Cuba. Their repertoire will include beloved pop, jazz and Latin pieces, embroidered with Afro Cuban rhythms.

Sanat Deliorman Ve Caz Biraderleri

Jazz vocalist, lyrics writer, radio programmer and jazz critic Sanat Deliorman will greet you on the Yeldeğirmeni Sanat stage once again. Deliorman previously performed her Project “From Poland with Love” with pianist Janusz Szprot on the same stage. This time she will be accompanied by Caz Birederleri, whom she has been performing with since 2012. Deliorman will perform jazz standards, Latin pieces, bebop and funk, as well as her own compositions and jazz pieces with her own Turkish lyrics.
