Kamança & Kemençe

This Project, which was formed around the idea “one nation, two countries”, features the philosophy “2 instruments, 1 sound”. Both instruments accompany each other while they produce sounds that are the banes of their existence all the while as they present melodies from far away lands. This interesting concept brings together an authentic perspective with new composition techniques; creating a new awareness and almost summoning a foresight while the expectation of results are transformed into a new musical motto.
Kamanca virtuoso İmamyar Hasanov from Azerbaijan will invite the listeners to an unforgettable journey while classical kemençe artist Hatice Doğan Sevinç will color the evening by pushing the technical and musical limits of her instrument.
