The living legend of flamenco Paco Peña performed at İş Sanat with his “Patrias” project he has prepared to commemorate the 80th year of the Spanish poet Federico Garcia Lorca.
Paco Peña, who has won the admiration of many with his flamenco performances that he gave in some of most prestigious venues, such as Royal Albert Hall, Saddlers Wells, Carnegie Hall and Concertgebouw, enrich flamenco with his new and unique ideas. He shapes his creative interpretations based on the traditions of flamenco with his team that consists of carefully chosen dancers, guitarists, and singers, and constantly brings innovation and curiosity to this antique art form. Paco Peña focuses on the Spanish Civil War and Lorca who died during the war with his Patrias performance, which was performed first time during the Edinburgh Festival and then in London to full houses. Paco Peña is accepted to be one of the most important flamenco guitarists and composers with his 40-years career. He was accompanied by dancers and singers, who are a must for flamenco.
